That's What I'm Talking About

I generally review romance, paranormal and urban fantasy. I tend to pick review books that I want to read, so generally my reviews will be positive. I always give my honest opinion: good, bad, and indifferent.

Of Crimson and Collars (American Satyrs)

Of Crimson and Collars (American Satyrs #1) - Stella Price, Audra Price Really would give it 2.5 stars. I don't know much about authors Stella and Audra Price, and won this book in a blog contest. After receiving it, I discovered that this falls in the "Erotic Romance." And that it is... Sex is pretty much in every section and every other page of the story. I'm not opposed to that, but the story needs to support the sex. In this case, the story wasn't that strong. The main charter, Ben is a demon with unknown parentage. He finds out that he is a prince in a very sexual race. In this race, men dominate and women want to be submissive sexual "slaves" (my word, I doubt the authors would think of the females as slaves.) It was very hard for me to care about a male who requires his "pets" (females) ask - no beg - permission to orgasm.
